I was in Hangzhou, China last week and found a Tesla charging station near the Yellow Dragon Hotel (northwest of the famous West Lake attraction in city center).

Looks like the Chinese car market is also getting in on the sustainable-resources automotives.

Yes, Beijing's air quality has improved markedly since the few years of horrible press. I was back a few times in recent months, and it's back to maybe mid-1990s levels of pollution rather than the everpresent industrial smog that bedevilled it from 2001 onwards.
