Default [3e] Xebec

Xebec (TL4)
This style of Mediterranean war galley was most famously used by the Barbary corsairs of North Africa in the 17th century. It featured lateen sails on three masts, and could also be rowed from crew stations located between the cannons. It was slightly narrower than typically galleys, allowing it to be more effectively propelled under man-power. The xebec could carry from 300 to 400 crew, and mounted from 16 to 40 guns.
This style of ship was adopted by the Spanish and the French in the 18th century, and was known as the chebec.
It costs $54,000 to provision the xebec for one month. Ammo for the cannons costs $9,180.
