I give you this:

Harrison Fordson Snow Devil (TL10)
This unusual vehicle features twin screw-propulsion. The idea is similar to a screw conveyor in reverse--instead of the screw moving loose material along its length, it moves its length along loose material, driving the vehicle forward. The screws move in opposition (one clockwise; the other counter-clockwise) to counterbalance torque. In neutral, the vehicle can slide completely sideways downhill. Unfortunately, this type of drive mechanism does not work as well on hard surfaces, making it of less use on-road and in rocky areas. It is, however, ideally suited for snow, sand, swampy terrain, and even water.

Subassemblies: Body +0, two Pods +0, 2 Tracks -1.
Powertrain: 20-kW NPU (2 year lifespan).

gSpeed: 91 gAccel: 6 gDecel: 20 gMR: 0.75 gSR: 4
Ground Pressure Low. 4/5 On-Road speed.
wSpeed: 8 wAccel: 1 wDecel: 10 wMR: 1 wSR: 5
Draft: 0.7'. Flotation Rating: 1,026 lbs.

Design Notes:
Body is 8 cf; pods are 5 cf each, tracks are 2.4 cf each. Structure is Light, Standard. It has improved suspension. Armor is standard metal. Electronic controls. Empty weight is 331 lbs. Since the vehicle performs better on loose substrates, Off-Road speed is considered "On-Road" speed.

Bravi to CHankel and copeab for the inspiration!
