You do, indeed. Even when things aren't perfect, I have seen amazing effort to make things right; and when things *are* perfect, I am always surprised by someone going an extra step to be extra perfect, whether it's Steve, or someone in the warehouse. It's obvious that everyone at every level cares.

Something that I neglected to mention, but have meant to many times, is that the people in SJG's warehouse are the best, the very best at packaging and shipping their games.

I've shipped a lot of packages in my employment history and can recognize a good packaging job when I see it. Even so, the packages may still be damaged, but this is not the fault of those doing the boxing.

Please pass this on to the warehouse people. They are the very best at their jobs and they all have my thanks. Truly remarkable.

Wow. Thank you.

Cutting neoprene mats: When I did my DIY terrain project, I bonded cloth to neoprene and then cut the sandwich with very sharp scissors. The trick was to really shorten up on the scissors and only try to go an inch or so at a time. Slow and steady gave me good cuts.

Trimming two tan maps will be ~70 one-inch cuts. How well will this work for hex edges?

Way late to the party, but I have to agree with the love-in.

This is one of only two companies I've ever dealt with where I can be relaying a conversation to a friend, get a "who's that", and reply with "Steve", "Oh, he's the CEO", or "Oh, he's the line editor". The other is Reaper Miniatures.

The fact that y'all are so approachable is (at least in my experience) really uncommon, and really appreciated.

Not sure exactly what you want to do, but a quality pair of shears can cut very accurately. it takes practice & patience though.

For repeated, short, high-accuracy cuts, an excellent option is the Craftsman Edge Utility Cutter 9-37309. I recently got one to cut chipboard with. I'm reskinning a MK V with the Hot Rod artwork from Ogrezine. The artwork is printed on thick photopaper, so I need to "tune" the width of the diecut slots to accommodate the photopaper thickness. The Edge cutter does this easily. It is powerful, accurate & uses standard utility knife blades.

I'm now pondering if it might be worth printing future playmats at 24"x24", but with artwork designed around (say) 23"x23", so the end user can trim them for geomorphing. Perhaps the "waste" space could be taken up with a nice border for those folks who don't care to cut up their maps.

I've got the heavy-duty Kretzer K22 12" upholstery shears, they handle very flexible neoprene.
