Default Can you use Telescopic Vision with Gunslinger?

Pretty simple question. Either automatically or with some enhancement, if you have Telescopic Vision at a higher level than your gun's Acc, can you use the new Acc for the purposes of Gunslinger?

Not without some shenanigans. Bonuses from scopes cannot exceed a weapon's base Acc.

However... that said... I'd allow an Acc from Telescopic Vision to replace the Acc of a weapon, but it would be a 0 point feature of Telescopic Vision when purchased and not be switchable.

However, since you have to Aim to get a scope's bonus, I'm not sure in what manner this would be useful to a Gunslinger...

+50% version of Cosmic on Telescopic Vision would let you do so.

I thought it might be something like that. That makes sense. Thanks.

I've allowed it in templates for trick-shooters and targeteers but I only give one level. It creates a nice bonus that's more substantial than just a high skill.

Note that it shouldn't be more than +20%, as for 6 points you can just take Telescopic Vision (No Targeting) [2] and +1 to Guns/Pistol [4].

Untrue, as your pricing only benefits Guns (Pistol) whereas Telescopic Vision (Cosmic, Targeting Benefits Without Aiming, +50%) [7.5/lvl] applies to every ranged weapon you pick up.

The context here was gunslinger, which only applies to pistols. I would not generally permit a build like that, just buy up weapon skill.

Well, that's not quite true. The full Acc bonus applies to all single shots from one-handed weapons. That's four skills I can think of: Guns (Pistol), Beam Weapons (Pistol), and some applications of Guns (SMG) and Guns (Shotguns). And two-handed weapons or automatic fire still get partial benefit from Gunslinger anyway.

That is absolutely false. Gunslinger applies to: Beam Weapons, Gunner, Guns, or Liquid Projector skill.

With just Guns alone you have Pistols, Gyrocs, Muskets, Rifles, Shotguns, and SMG specialities.

And as awesomenessofme1 notes:

Which by "partial benefit" we mean "half Acc". And Rifles tend to have higher (if not double) Acc in most cases.

And all the other benefits from GunFu, which if allowed mean even better advantages for using two-handed firearms (ignoring Bulk in CC and on Move and Attack maneuvers).
