We now have confirmation of something that was discussed in this thread:

This is not to say something similar doesn't happen -- but when, where, and by/to whom?

A friend of mine had recently come up with an idea for the Infinite Worlds game we were playing. We were infiltrating a timeline with widespread psionics, and we had managed to get mind probed by a powerful telepath/ESPer. Needless to say, we were in trouble. The campaign would have ended right there when my friend suggested that parachronic radiation messes with ESP. The GM, who I think was looking for a way out of the situation, said that the idea was plausible. Since we had previously called in a Spec Ops team, the psi got ambushed by several heavily armored men with dart guns. The idea had been in my head since then. The mention of reality quakes caused me to recall this idea. What if, instead of some sort of disaster, the Wall was caused by the appearence of a Banestorm? An alien fleet or a Kaiju of some sort could cause massive chaos.

Does e23 do 148-page books? Because that's how big Bob's current outline is.

Just thought folks might like to know...

This outline looks like a lot of fun. Ran many games in the IST world in 3rd edition would love to see a 4th edition book.

I think Kromm has said that a competent editor can whittle away 20-30% of a manuscript.

(quickly blows dust off thread)

In various posts in this thread, I've provided links to threads on Robert M. Schroeck's forums. Bob has just finished moving his forums, for reasons we don't need to go into here.

You can find the aforementioned threads at http://www.accessdenied-rms.net/foru...lay.php?fid=20

Thanks for telling us. Re-registering was annoying (the first security question was frustratingly obscure, though the second was easy), but that's done, as soon as an administrator confirms me.
