Re: TV series with ideas for GURPS
There was a crossover? <jk>
Well, let's say you could probably fit them into similar points budgets. A Flash/Arrow team up would be quite different though- Arrow's a few hundred points in stats and skills, not much else since he lost his Wealth, but maybe a bit in Allies and Patron (CEO gf), while the Flash has thousands of points in Enhanced Move, Altered Time Rate, Time Jumper and Innate Attack.

Re: TV series with ideas for GURPS
Worth mentioning is Almighty Johnsons. If anyone chooses to do The Unit then I would recommend watching "ultimate force" too.
If anyone still plays gurps goblins then check out "the bleak old shop of stuff" after watching it I wanted to make up a zoo worker with a sideline in selling "the meats of the safari" Torchwood seems an easy fit. The Fades would be a good dark urban fantasy/horror. Mark Gatiss and Steve Moffat do well with modernizing Victorian tales. Jekyll and Sherlock. I have another pseudo urban fantasy in mind but I can't think of it at the moment.

Re: TV series with ideas for GURPS
I think the Canadian sci-fi TV show Dark Matter (available on Netflix) would make a great RPG campaign. All the PCs wake up aboard a spaceship and realize they have no memories of who they are or why they're there. There are so many scenario possibilities that you wouldn't have to follow the show's storyline at all -- just use the premise and setting for inspiration.

I'd say he's a 200 point Junior Monster Hunter Muscle and his sidekicks are 100pt (or will be by the end of the season).

Re: TV series with ideas for GURPS
I was thinking Trailer Park Boys would actually make good fodder for a game. Everyone has such tremendous flaws and talents, and everyone is so dysfunctional, that you can do all sorts of social engineering and skill contests and exploitation of characters strengths and weaknesses to pull off some interesting role playing and crazy get rich schemes that don't necessarily rely on combat.
