Default Trojan horse + tongue demon

See title. If someone kills a monster then another plays Trojan horse and plays tongue demon whose effect is discard a card BEFORE combat so the question is , is that a new combat AFTER the Trojan horse since you were about to draw treasures AND get a level or is it considered the same combat.

The "Trojan Horse" paired with a Monster makes a player lose the ability to draw Treasure cards and enter a new Combat.

Therefore, if a player is drawing as a result of a Combat, all resolved results are concluded from a Combat, then that player enters a new Combat. However, if a player is drawing Treasure as a result of an allowed effect, that player enters a new Combat immediately suspending whatever was happening at the moment.

Furthermore, the "Tongue Demon" requires the loss of an Item upon which it enters the new Combat.

The Trojan Horse starts a new combat, so any "before combat" effects would activate at the start of that second fight.
