That's actually a good point. For now, I'm kind of at the cusp of my points because my guy is also an inventor, who created all of his equipment he uses, which is eating up quite a few points. Maybe if I move some stuff around, but that's a stretch.

This is essentially how Imbuements work: spend 1 FP, roll against skill, and you have the desired effect on that particular attack. Spending more FP at a skill penalty gives greater effects.

Using them on a regular basis will tire you out, however, and if you drop below 1/3 FP your Move and some other traits are affected (full effects are detailed in Campaigns), which is why I recommend getting an Energy Reserve, which is "Fatigue Point pool for 'non-physical' exertion".

I don't recommend ER, I would suggest buying more FP, good HT, and breath control

I disagree. I once made a post about this, which while written with a spell-casting mage in mind could be useful for someone who uses a lot of imbuements.

One thing you don't want to do is get yourself so tired out from spending 2/3 of your FP on imbuement skills and super-strength - or in a mage's case, spells - that you halve your effective Move, Dodge, and ST! An ER pool separate from your FP pool prevents the physical exhaustion from hitting as soon or as hard; if you blow through your ER without touching your FP, you're not taking penalties. Also, if an enemy fires a Fatigue Attack at you, your ER won't be affected, meaning you can still use your ER even if fatigue attacks drop you to 0 FP (though to be honest I'd still run away if my FP dropped from a starting value of 12 down to 5 from attacks that targeted FP, even if I had a full ER).

Mind, the stuff you mentioned you'd get does make sense overall.

The big difference to my mind is I can use Breath Control to restore FP, I can't do that with ER

That more than makes up for the drawbacks of FP in my mind

Now, if I was making a straight up Imbueist, my favorite build is the 'Blood Ramjet' as I call it

Take good stock of HP.
Take perk for spending HP on Imbues and perk for spending on Extra Effort
Take Vampiric Strike
Go wild wild wild spending your HP on extra effort and Imbues while using your Vampiric Strike and hope for the best!

If you do take ER and Imbues though, take the Vampiric Strike to refill ER

Problem is, I have to justify how I got my tactical suit, and abilities, so I had to spend some points on things like Gadgeteer and what not. I can post a Gyazo of my Character Sheet if that helps.

My original idea was not the tactical suit, but the regular Reflex Suit or Reflex Bodysuit (Ultra-Tech, p. 172), with DR 12/4*. As for how, the usual explanation is that there is an agency in the world - SHIELD, AIM, Wayne Technologies, Stark Industries, Checkmate, a clothing spider, etc - that produces "better than Kevlar" for supers and law enforcement, so ask your GM about that.

No images attached but you can link to a website if you describe the link. Posting your charecter in the forum can get you some good feedback.
