Default Magellan: Supers webcomic

This might belong in GenChat, but since it involves superheroic fiction; which I suspect most people mine for game ideas, as I do; I decided on this forum as more appropriate.

I did a cursory search of the forums, just to make sure I wasn't bringing up old news: Last night, while following links from some other webcoms I read, I stumbled onto this site, got interested enough by the artwork to follow the Archive link, and stayed up until the wee hors of the morning reading the whole series. For those not already in the know, Magellan is a fairly steady, regularly updated (twice a week) superhero strip that has been out since 2004. The tone is most like early Iron Age, but bounces around a little. The writer recommends it for a mature audience and suggests parental consent for readers under 18 [not necessarily my opinion, but just so's ya know]. If you're a fan of the genre, I'd say it's definitely worth a look.

Thanks for the link now I have another web comic to add to my list. ;-)

It is pretty good and I like the subject matter.

You're welcome! Hopefully, some of the other viewers of the OP have checked it out and found something they like.

What did you think of the artwork? It reminded me of what I have called the "lucha style"... as typified by Los Bros Hernandez or the later works of Jaxon.

I like the art style. Clean lines and easy to pick out characters.

Just an update, for those interested in such:
Grace has collected the first Chapter (and following Short) of the webcomic Magellan on the Issuu platform, where it is a much more reader-friendly way to be introduced to my favorite webcomic 😁
Check it out now while it is still free as it will be a purchasable download in a week or so, with the eventual goal of catching up to the current storyline in the e-reader format.
