I wanted to buy Glow in the Dark miniatures during the Kickstarter campaign (plus an extra set of one of the colors), but ran low on funds. Will people who were involved in the crowdfunding be able to buy any of the extras stretch goal products? |

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
Got my set in the other day and they look great.
Before I get started assembling them, I wanted to see what other people’s experiences have been. Is glue necessary or do they snap together pretty firmly? Any concerns with removing them from the frames? I’m thinking an exacto knife and some fine grit sandpaper would be advisable to get them cleaned up. Anything else I should consider? Also, is there a painting guide for the different factions anywhere? I’m not sure I’m going to paint them, but if I do, it would be nice to know the best way to do it. Rick |

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
I popped the one heavy tank turret that come loose from the sprue into the socket on one of the hulls so I wouldn't lose it. It was a nice tight fit. That is the extent of my assembly so far.

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
My HVY and HWZ fit together fine without glue, and the INF are made to snap into the bases securely (the 1 I assembled easily stayed together when I accidentally stepped on it, though the INF did get smushed )-: ). My Mk III, OTOH, is 100% glued (super glue - a tiny drop is all it takes), and I expect the Mk V to be the same way, along with the GEVs and probably the CP. Not sure about the MSL yet...

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
I've assembled four full sets now. I glued everything but the infantry. The HVY, MSL, and HWZ probably don't need glue. The CP, cybertanks, and GEV absolutely do need glue.

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
I've glued everything but the HOW. The INF, I am waiting for the arrival (Monday?) of the clear 1/32" plexiglas discs I ordered to replace the kit ones. I think the idea of snap on - snap off INF is good, but prone to wastage over time.
