Re: Revolver, extra attack, dual weapon attack and rapid attack
What kind of single action revolvers are you talking about? With single-piece slugs in it or the cap-and-ball revolvers?
With the cap-and-ball revolvers when firing the next shot, the user would raise his pistol vertically as he cocked the hammer back so as to let the fragments of the burst percussion cap fall out so as to not jam the mechanism. If you speed this up, the chance will be high you will jam your weapon (make a HT/Breakage roll for the weapon if you increase its RoF). With modern single-action revolvers, the maximum speed is that of your thumb or your left hand. For semi-automtic guns, you cannot pull the trigger fast enough to keep up with the gun itself. Which results in about 3 shots for a novice shooter to 6 shots for a trained shooter (up to the number of shots of the weapon). This maximum is purely due to us humans, not the gun. |

Re: Revolver, extra attack, dual weapon attack and rapid attack
It is, however, on HT p. 85.

Re: Revolver, extra attack, dual weapon attack and rapid attack
It doesn't. But it does cover all the rules subjects under discussion - thumbing and fast-firing and ranged Rapid Strike. That was definitely not a helpful combination of qualities.
