Re: The 2019 Digital W23 Speculation and Discussion Thread
Much as I would love for David Pulver's two-volume work to be a sectionally-presented Vehicles Design System, I suspect it's another micro-line like After the End or Steampunk. Anybody want to join me, given the author, on guessing it's either Mecha or Anime?
Most other upcoming entries seem entirely opaque so far, though I'm wondering whether Christopher Rice's "SNO-51" might not be an organization-management system (for developing fiefs, guilds, businesses and the like) in an adventuring context. And, since my hope springs eternal, I'd love for the "Unknown Big Project" with multiple authors, which requires "discussing how to proceed with that," to be the long-stalled Girl Genius, with the required discussion being whether to just go ahead and chance another premium hardcover to the ferocious market, or to hedge their bets and do a Kickstarter. P.S.: Is Pedersen's Social Engineering item having a secret, invitation-only playtest, or is the process stalled? Not that anyone who knows can probably say....

Well, Elsa's snow-creating powers are no joke, so..... (you should have posted the above on April 1 instead!)

Hm. What are other good options? Perhaps it's the secret research station where they have a crashed Santa's Sleigh?

I may be entirely wrong but Mr. Pulver seems too serious for Anime but that would be nice as well. I am thinking Armor and Weapon Design as two books myself though. Quote:
Still could be that, we have not had a conspiracy book in quite awhile. And FYI for those who might not have spotted it yet the Stakeholders report is out. Particularly relevant to this thread is this snippet from the 2019 priorities. "... a second GURPS project (following the first of the year, Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 2, that is now up for preorder on BackerKit),.." My guess is another DF item, though I hope its something different. I personally would like a few other genres to get a higher profile this year to show off GURPS versatility.

Not only is David a huge anime fan, he has experience working on anime games, having spent some time with Guardians of Order working on Big Eyes, Small Mouth. Which may or may not mean that his two-part GURPS project is anime-themed (or even just anime-adjacent); I know, but I'll never tell.

Quite right! And GURPS Mecha showed a big anime influence as well.
