[Magic] Specialist Casters

OK, that's it. I've had enough of the baseless canard that GURPS Magic doesn't support "specialist casters". Let's look at a few.

Captain Wrack is most feared pirate on the ocean thanks to his ability to outsail all others and the fearsome image he presents as lightning crackles around him. Here's his spell list.

Purify Air, Create Air, Shape Air, Air Jet, Air Vision, Walk on Air, Windstorm, Air Vortex, Predict Weather, Wind, Resist Lightning, Lightning, Lightning Whip, Shocking Touch, Spark Storm, Lightning Armor

The good Captain uses Predict Weather to avoid storms, Wind to outrun other ships, and Lightning Whip to scare his victims.

Rina, the Forest Queen, does not welcome intruders into her forest and her activities have caused the land she protects to be regarded with superstitious dread. Here's her spell list. And yes, she has animal empathy to cover the entry prerequisite.

Beast Soother, Vermin Control, Mammal Control, Reptile Control, Bird Control Hybrid Control , Beast Summoner, Beast Link, Beast Speech, Rider Within, Beast Possession, Protect Animal, Shapeshift Wolf, Raven, Giant Snake, Otter, Great Shapeshift.

I'm not sure if he qualifies for Lightning Armor since it's not clear what qualifies as a "lightning spell".

To have Great Shapeshift she needs Alter Self and Alter Visage (which requires 8 Body Spells).

Anything with lightning in the name of the spell or that has Lightning or Resist Lightning as a prerequisite. And no, he doesn't. He's one lightning spell short.

To have Great Shapeshift she needs Alter Self and Alter Visage (which requires 8 Body Spells).

Only explicitly needs Alter Body for Greater Shapeshift, but Alter Body needs Alter Visage. There is no Alter Self spell.
