Re: Douglas Cole speculation thread
Well, I speculate that I will back it. Is it even fair to call that speculation?
I'll back anything* GURPS-related by Douglas Cole. *within generous reason

Re: Douglas Cole speculation thread
And so it was that during the early twenty-first century, fantasy settings for games all gradually became Norse-flavoured. This might have been because they were all influenced by Tolkein's Norse mythology roots, or because the concept of honour became more and more attractive as a result of social changes. However, the likeliest cause is efficient promotion by the founder of Douglas Cole Enterprises, and a bit of luck on his part.

Re: Douglas Cole speculation thread
Very cool. I assume it will have mundane animals too?

Some may be tweaked to be particular to the assumed culture (whitetail deer are from North America, so we've got Red Deer/Elk as the primary critter like that), but yeah, it's comprehensive.

Re: Douglas Cole speculation thread
My only problem is if this is a DF release it will be overlooked by those who just read other genres.
