Rules (limitation question)

Can I get a (semi) official rule on the % amount of the limitation "Crushing damage only" on Striking ST? Obviously Striking ST does either crushing, cutting, or impaling, so I could use the .33 accessibility limitation, which is -25%. However, the point cost is 5 points per +1d, where cutting is 7 points, and impaling is 8 points. Hence one could argue for 5/20 - .25 accessibility, which is -30%. Could Kromm or PKitty give a (semi) official rule? I'm doing a low-powered "crushing only" Supers campaign, so the super ST rules from GURPS Supers don't really help.

If all damage is Crushing, it may be easier to just use Crushing Attack with Melee:C.

No that doesn't account for thrown cars and swung steel I-beams, etc...I need "crushing only". GURPS Supers explicitly rules out what you suggest.

I think you are estimating too high. My immediate instinct for this is to use the values for Weapon Master, and while there isn't a category there explicitly listing "crushing weapons", it's clearly *at least* a large class, which is at about -12%

If "crushing only" is because the campaign setting only has crushing damage for Super ST, this might be a Feature.
