GenCon 50 and GURPS

There appear to be a bump in GURPS events this year - great!

I'm running one game - GURPS 4e Monster Hunters:

You are all that stands against the forces of darkness.Humanity doesn’t believe in the wicked things that lurk in the shadows. Demons, vampires, rogue psis, werewolves, chupacabras? All real. And all very dangerous. A powerful demon can make short work of an entire police department or a squad of soldiers. Normal human beings simply cannot fight these things – they lack the skills, the will, and the strength to do so.

A roleplaying game in which you play a preternaturally proficient human - or something that's not quite human - to defeat the supernatural. In the spirit of Constantine, Supernatural, Buffy/Angel, Dresden Files.

Scenario: Toys in the Attic.
Unexplained phenomena. A family brutally attacked. A haunting? Or something more diabolical?

Are other GenCon GMs here? What are you running?

I'll be there, running "Grappling Smackdown" twice, a 2-hour intro session using the Dungeon Grappling rules I wrote for DnD 5e, on Friday and Saturday mornings at 10am-noon. I'll also be playing in the DFRPG game on Saturday, and working the Indie Game Designer's Network booth a whole lot.

And yet . . . 8-midnight on Thursday is currently open. Hrm, says me. Hrm...

I decided to not run anything this year (it's my first time there). But I may change my mind. I would like to get a group of folks who know they are going together from here so we can get together and discuss GURPSness. :-)
