I'd say Charles Darwin off the top of my head, but I'd also expect Biology in his skillset.

Edit: Although, in retrospect, I guess Naturalist would be the better representation after all.

Indeed. I liked the inclusion of Theology in addition to the stereotypical skills.

I defer my turn. First taker may take it. Maybe if I ever get one when I'm not at work, I'll throw one together.

Not among any of the historians I know. There are carvings of Persians and Parthians and Sasanians using couched lances at least 500 years earlier than this.
