Nouns and Verbs; Realms and ___
A Realm is an Advantage that defines what sorts of phenomena you can influence; in effect, Nouns. Meanwhile, each level in it defines what sorts of things you can do with respect to the Realm; that is, the levels are Verb-like.
So what would you call an Advantage that inverts this relationship, with the overall Advantage being defined in terms of what you can do (e.g., “destroy things”) and the individual levels defining what you can do it to? That is, the Advantage is all about the Verb, and the levels define Nouns. |

Off the top of my head, perhaps "Actions" or "Dynamics".
Subtleties of the words (connotations, sound, context) will tend to color the feel of the setting, so you might ponder those shades of meaning. |

In Thaumatology, it is Powers, the levels of the Realms. Since Realms and Powers derive from the magic of MtAs, it is fairly straightforward (though it should use threshold instead of FP to represent Paradox).

"Kingdoms" or "Schools" would work.

Re: Nouns and Verbs; Realms and ___
Thanks; I had been butting my head up against a wall on the one, and I need a fresh take to get my creativity going again.
I think I'm going to go with “Protocols”. |
