Combat Map App for iPad
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a combat map app for iPad. The app we used was not updated for a long time and stopped working with iOS 11 as 32 bit app support was dropped all together. I bought Battle Map 2 which supports hex grids but does not support facing. Any recommandation for a map suitable for GURPS combats (hex grid and facing at the minimum)? I am OK with paid apps. |

It is interesting that no replies were given for this. Is everybody using pen paper and cardboard miniatures?

I use MapTools, which requires Java support and might work with an Ipad. I think some of my players use it from their tablets.

Also, my attempts at using electronic map-making software hasn’t gone well – too time consuming.

Re: Combat Map App for iPad
I use SplashStreamer on my iPad, which allows me to connect to my desktop remotely. There are other apps that have the same function (TeamViewer is fairly popular).
From there I can run any mapping program I want and use my iPad as a desktop interface.
