Change posture
When laying prone and making a change posture manuever to rise to kneeling, what would your facing be? I dont see anything under the manuever that says you can face in any facing, so do your face towards your legs? or do you resume your original facing? what if your opponant sent you to the ground in a different direction?
For example I start facing SW and my opponant takes me down so that my head falls to the SE. If I change posture to kneeling, which way am I facing? |

Re: Change posture
I imagine you can face anyway you want. Just as if you only step you can face any direction you want.

Re: Change posture
Change posture isnt a step however and cant be performed as a step. Next turn you could rise to standing as a step and face in any direction.
Is the change posture up to some interpretation or house ruling? im just checking if there is a rule somewhere about this that im missing. |

Re: Change posture
It really isn't that difficult to go from lying down to crouching/kneeling facing any direction you care to, so "face anywhere" is fine by me. If you do want to enforce a facing, however, it would depend on if you're on your back or on your stomach. If on your back, you can face one of the three hexes your feet would have considered "forward hexes." If on your stomach, you can face one of the three hexes your head would have considered forward hexes.
