Default How Can Magic Find the Missing Pieces

GURPS Magic has spells to find almost anything. Almost.

If you have one piece of an item, how can you magically find the missing pieces?

The spell you want is "Seeker", which can find one person or man-made object. Having a part of an object certainly is enough contact to remove the -5 penalty for not having something closely associated with the subject, and I would say is even enough connection for the +1 for having held the subject.

If it is a "man" made object then Seeker would do it. You just look for "the rest of this thing". Divination could give you some indication.

I had thought about Seeker, but wanted someone else's opinion. Thanks!
