"Historical gaming" is often considered a genre.

And one of the first mentions of the project was Phil Masters saying, in a blog entry, "I've just today signed a contract for another GURPS project, which hopefully will turn into a small string of PDF publications...." Who's Who seems ideal for such treatment; no other "genre book" seems to fit the bill, without becoming one of the major "worked examples" like Dungeon Fantasy or Action, and that seems unlikely.

Well, there's something like that on the W23 wishlist.

Maybe, but 'genre book' means something specific in GURPS publishing-speak, and 'Who's Who' does not count.

EDIT: A book called 'Historical Fiction' would count, though.

To be 100% accurate, Dragons predates GURPS 4e. ;)

Nothing historical could happen in the "not-too-distant future."

Any guesses on what, if anything, we'll be getting tomorrow?

I know I'm not keeping up. I'm sorry. The man I call father had a stroke last week and it's been pure hell.

Wow. Sorry Ghostdancer. Just for the record, I didn't mean for my post to be a passive aggressive nudge at you, I was just asking a question. No need to apologize, you don't work for us. As I understand it, you do this for free, and at that rate, you give us much more than we pay for, so I'm not complaining at all. Go tend to your father, and don't worry about this. We are a far lower priority than your family, and we can make our own predictions.

Sorry to hear that, Christopher. I hope he gets better.

On the thread topic, I'm pretty sure that we'll be seeing Peter Dell'Orto's newest Dungeon Fantasy item today.

Seconded. You take care of family and we'll take care of hobby.
