Carried items and Curse
Say I have 2 headgear items in play. One because it gives my elf a boost and the other is plain and is not in effect, played sideways. During combat someone curses me and I lose my helm that gives my elf the boost. Does my other helm come into play at this point because it is still "in play"? Or do I have to wait until combat is resolved before adding the effect to my combat strength?

Re: Carried items and Curse
You cannot equip items during combat, so no, the other headgear does not add any bonus. Once combat is over, you can turn it upright to show you are now using it, but you cannot make that switch during combat.
Of course, if the Curse had said "Lose Your Headgear" (rather than something like "Lose the Headgear You Are Wearing") then it would have become a moot point, as it would take all your Headgear, whether you were wearing it or not. |
