Default Changing Items and playing bonuses.

1. Can I put in play the +2 Awesome! during combat?

2. Can I change items in play when I am out of combat and out of my turn?

3. On our last game, I was wearing the Boots of Running Really Fast so I started my turn with 4 Move tokens and had in my pack the Cute Winged Sandals. I used all of my Move to explore 4 new rooms and in the last room, which was the Sticky Floor, I killed a monster that gave me, among the other treasures, the Potion of Swiftness. I used it immediatelly and got another 4 moves. But to get out of the room without suffering the 1-extra-move-to-leave penalty I put on the Sandals and then changed it back with the Boots to regain the extra move. Was it legal?

Rules clearly say what you can do during your turn and during out of turn in and out of combat on page 5.

Actions On Any Player’s Turn..
At any time, except during combat, you can:
● Use any card that says “any time except during combat.”
● Sacrifice a level to restore three lost Health points.
● Switch Items you are carrying or wearing for those in your pack. See p. 16.
● Trade Items with players in your own or adjacent rooms. See p. 16.
● Drop Items that you no longer want to carry. See p. 7.
● Play a Treasure card that you just received.

So yah you can switch items around from your pack to in play or what have you. But you can not equipped items from your hand out of turn.

Actions On Your Turn...
At any time on your turn, except during combat, you can:
● Play an Item card from your hand to the table.
● Spend gold and/or discard Items worth at least 1,000 Gold Pieces to go up a level (see p. 15).

8 Moves in one turn? Your friends must have hated you. lol

Yeah it's legal. The Potion of Swiftness gives you all your move back, so that's 4 move. You can deequipped and equipped at anytime as long as there is room in your pack. Sure you lose a foot during that period, but you can now afford it. You spend one move to get out- then stop, re equipped, get your 4th move back, and you keep going.

Pretty sure about this, you should wait for an official ruling.

What I am curious about is if you have 1 move left, can you use the remainder of your moves to get out of the sticky room? I know you can use all of your moves at anytime to get out of any link except a wall. So I sort of answered my own question.. I just want to make sure.

No, you can use your entire Move allotment for a whole turn to move through a single non-Wall link, even if you don't have enough to move through it normally. Not "all your remaining Move."

I see. I knew I remembered it incorrectly and eventually misread it later when I re read the rules. Thanks Andrew.

And I assume my answer for Kosbour was accurate since you didn't correct me?

No, I just haven't had time to dive into the intricacies of MQ questions when I'm away from the office and on my own time. I'd prefer not to guess at what rules say, so I'll wait until I have the cards and such in front of me.

This sounds like a legal sequence of play to me.
