Default Usage of Baby (-5 to monster) card

Hi all, im new to the forums and i have just stumbled upon this situation.

Player A : Kicks door and gets a level 2 monster (Player A is combat level 2)
so player A cant kill it due to tie on combat level and not being a warrior

Player A : Uses "Baby -5 to monster (draw 1 lesser treasure with minimum of 1)"

Player B : Uses +5 to monster (draw 1 extra treasure if it is defeated)

Player A : Asks for help from Player B , and gives all treasure to B if he helps

So the question i have in mind now is, does Player B get to pick 1 or 2 treasure?

and does the order of cards played change the outcome of the fight? in this case, Baby was used by Player A right after door was kicked, followed by +5 to monster played by Player B

Order shouldn't matter, so for simplicity's sake I would rule that the +1 and -1 cancel each other out and there's 1 Treasure at play.
