This Talent is your best one yet.

Why isn't Current Affairs one of the listed skills, though?

Data Processor is not the Talent of knowing lots of data. Rather, it is the Talent of skimming vast amounts of low grade information, spotting likely leads, analysing reliability and accuracy and constructing new information from the relationships. This requires understanding the meaning, source and purpose of just-discovered data, not number crunching for a pre-determined task.

It is actually information, not data, processing but Data Processor has entered the English language.

Current Affairs is just a mass of unrelated trivia and analysis would provide no new insight. Whereas the others can provide insight into strangely missing cash flow, procedural bottlenecks, case law that can be usefully adapted, criminal meeting places, personal history buried somewhere in the newspaper archives or popular reaction to news.

Knightly Weapons We used an example of a small class of weapons under the Weapon Master advantage for a talent that includes broadsword, mace, shield, lance and we added in fastdraw broadsword.

But what is the innate ability or insight, rather than just being the set of skills used by a profession?

It's on par with a baseball pitcher haveing a talent for the game. Fastball, curveball, slider, batting, running.

No, those don't go together.
Throwing, Fastball, curveball, slider are one talent.
Batting is a totally different talent.
Running has nothing to do with the first two.

Don't be silly, or are you going to sit there and tell me that any of the talented major league pitchers show an equivalent type of talent to bat?

And don't mind my AL bias, most NL pitchers can't hit either.

Besides, what in the world does a batting talent have to do with throwing a ball?

Default When will it stop?

The scientists thought they found the nature of the unstoppable thread and finally destroyed it. But they were wrong.

This Talent is inspired by Starbuck of the new Battlestar Galactica. It's intended for contemporary and sci-fi settings where gunplay is more common than hand-to-hand.

Tussler: You get in close, fight furiously, spot mistakes and react faster. Skills: Boxing, Brawling, Driving (dogfighting only), Interrogation, Intimidation, Judo, Karate, Knife, Piloting (dogfighting only), Sports, Tactics, Wrestling. Reaction bonus: street fighters and combat pilots. 10 points/level.
