Not sure if anyone covered this yet:

Physical Scientist: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Metallurgy, Physics, and Physiology. Some worlds may add Thaumatology and Weird Science for no extra cost. Reaction bonus: scientists, science nerds. Cost: 10 points per level.

This thread rises again.

Like many of my other creations, this uses a house rule that a skill listed with a condition only counts half for Talent cost and no learning bonus applies. I think this allows more interesting Talents.

One Step Ahead: When the fighting breaks out, you're one step ahead of the enemy. Skills: Area Knowledge (tactical and evasive routes only), Driving (dogfighting and combat manoeuvring only), Navigation (tactical and evasive routes only), Piloting (dogfighting and combat manoeuvring only), Sports, Tactics and Urban Survival (evasion only). Reaction Bonus: Soldiers, sportsmen and combat pilots. 5 points/level.

I don;t think I'd allow this as it complicates things too much, however if I did I'd have it cover any and all applications of chess and similar games. Lookahead is extraordinarily useful in chess, it is infact more or less how chess computers win ..

Thats a good one. I am not trying to critique all your posts, it just seems that way, promise :) anyway -- the reaction bonus might also include " fellow freaks" in general as well.

Honestly, I think once you've got to this point it's better to just make it a separate kind of Advantage, like Perfect Balance is, for instance. Taking a pricing guideline from Talents is fine, but I think this is way too complicated for a Talent.

I think, with the Reaction Bonus shaved off, this would be neat as a standalone Advantage.

This was inspired by the Centauri of Babylon 5.

Social Climber: You know how personal power comes through how people perceive you. Skills: Acting, Carousing, Detect Lies, Diplomacy, Fast-Talk, Intimidation, Politics, Propaganda (Individuals), Public Speaking, Saviour-Faire, Sex Appeal and Streetwise. Reaction bonus: other social climbers who aren't your rivals. 10 points/level.

Looks solid, but I'd remove that limitation from the Propaganda, or change it to be a bonus to some kind of Specialisation (and I don't think "Me" is sufficiently specialised to count).

I don't think any limitation or specialization is appropriate. As it use as much to bolster your image as it is to destroy your enemies'.

Likewise, but I'm not sure if Warmachine wanted it this way to keep it as a 10 point Talent (as I think it would be 15 otherwise).
