Should i have gotten a negative combat strength
I was a level 3 dwarf, and got changed to a female. I had the -5 combat sitting in front of me for my next battle
I wandered in LVL 2 Mr Bones. I played a potion to add +3 to my combat. I told everyone this put me at 4 total I think I was supposed to be: lvl 3(base) -5(gender change) +3(potion) = lvl 1 base I felt guilty the rest of the game realizing I probably should have been lvl 1 combat and not lvl 4 combat Last edited by MunchkinMan; 03-12-2014 at 08:00 AM. |

Re: Should i have gotten a negative combat strength
I moved this question to its own thread. Please don't tack on additional questions to a thread unless the new questions is a follow-up to a response, or directly pertains to the original question. We ask that people do this, and not ask multiple questions in a thread, because it prevents issues with tangents within threads creating difficulty in finding responses.
As for the question: Yes, even though your actual Level can not go below 1, your combat strength (your Level + bonuses - penalties) can go negative. Since penalties affect your combat strength (and not your Level), the -5 penalty started you off with a -2 combat strength. |
