Exotic class and reality TV seal

I have combined several sets of Munchkin. The Reality TV seal was currently the top seal, which is where your level does not count in combat. I am the exotic class and tried to use a monster's level as mine, since the card says "use IT'S level as your own." Can I actually do this and combine the monster's level that I played from my hand with my items in play to fight the monster?

The monster's Level replaces your own and then still does not count.
