Ogre 6E Box dimentions

I have looked, but cant find it.

I did see one message someone quoted that the box would be shipped at 15 cm deep, but once the pieces were broken out of the sheets and placed into the trays it would be 12cm deep. But I could NOT find where he got that quote from.

What are the current estimated dimensions of the game box.

We have not finalized the box depth. The facing will be 24" x 20" and depth will be determined once we finish designing the storage trays.

I think that that information came out in the main comment thread on Kickstarter, but it might also have been any of the update-specific comment threads. Timing-wise, I think it was once Phil was in China. Context-wise, I think that it related to questions of international shipping costs or whether anything could fit in the case with the game.

If you really want to find the source, start around page 20 of the main comment thread on Kickstarter -- first check newer posts (up to project close), and then older ones back to Canada/UK shipping announcement. For the updates, that is roughly Update 11 through Update 35.

But -- Phil would know the current truth, so look at his reply above.

At first, I thought it was a joke, that this was a 2-up box for promotional purposes.

Then, as the Ogre 6E KS moved along, I did some math, and realized that this was the *actual* size of the thing.

That box is the older design and small. The current box is larger than that one by 3" in one dimension and 1" in another dimension. The Kickstarter project made the game bigger.
