95% funded and not even an hour.

Glad the reward levels are not locked to a set number and that both deluxe editions are available in one pledge.

I am anxious to see Raphael.

Funded in around 40 minutes and doesn't seem to be slowing down much. Wow.

Hmm. So the ultimate edition is the same as the deluxe edition just with alternate art. Now I’m not so sure which one to get.

Both, obviously. Making choices is hard.

But the Ultimate edition is only available through Kickstarter. The regular deluxe you will be able to buy once the game releases if you want to get it later.

Personally I prefer the art of the regular deluxe but wanted the Ultimate cause it's Kickstarter exclusive so I pledged $75 to get both and the 4 deck boxes that are also Kickstarter exclusive.

This isn't accurate, although I concede the campaign isn't clear about it. BOTH Deluxe versions are exclusive to the Kickstarter. The final retail release will not be Deluxe.

IDW made a rather significant reveal -- Usagi Yojimbo will be added as an exclusive Hero.

Better back it while you can.

BTW, I have since found out that I was incorrect about this. There will be a retail Deluxe version.

I am a bit tight on money this week, but I am absolutely not letting this one slip by. Not only is it a combination of two franchises I adore, I also want to let Nickelodeon know that I am both appreciative and supportive of them catering directly to adult audiences. I am genuinely impressed that they not only acknowledge, they actively push products based on the early, dark, violent, and satirical TMNT comic books. (They also licensed a series of building toys to Mattel's Mega brand in the same stark, black-and-white style.) TMNT has had its missteps - has it ever had a good movie? - but at its core it makes no bones about being fun. It has a lot to offer audiences of all ages, especially as too many franchises seem to be sinking into GrimDark territory.
