Tactical Shooting Character Assistant Data File

Folks,

Has anyone compiled a .GDF for Tactical Shooting? If so, can it be shared? Looking to add that book to Character Assistant in anticipation of a GURPS tactical campaign.

I see that there hasn't been a response to this. Has anyone built such a data file as yet? Me? I can get by without the Tactical Shooting data file, but since I just started a campaign set in the Old West - it would have been nice to have it for my own use right about now ;)

Anyone?

I don't know if anyone's tackled Tactical Shooting yet but some of the stuff found in it can be found in the Gun Fu GDF as well.

I've actually started a GDF for Tactical Shooting but I'm making slow progress, with real life constantly getting in the way. :D

So 2 years later and still no character assistant data file release from Steve Jackson games. Kind of pathetic support......

Take heart! There is something you can do to fix the problem! You can create a GDF for Tactical Shooting and publish it for the world to use! Yes, that's right, you! It takes no special skills other than the ability to use a text editor and read a book, both of which I'm pretty sure you have.

Sorry man, SJGames doesn't provide the data file support for Character Assistant. It's all handled by volunteers who make something they need for their own game, and share it with the world. It means the available files are sometimes incomplete, but it also means that there are some pretty slick things you can add on to Character Assistant, like the Phoenix character sheet.

He's right folks! I am working on the file in my spare time. Fortunately, many of the traits have been done in other source files, such as Gun Fu.
I hope to have it up soon.

Circling back around to this..I know several people indicated on this thread that they were in the process of making Tactical Shooting GDF files for CGA. Any of them completed yet? If not, I'll roll out my own. Just hoping to save some time.
