As this subject has been covered before at some length, I'd ask that the discussion not go off on this tangent. If you still want to have this conversation -- again -- Geek Culture would be an appropriate place to talk about ebooks verses physical books.

It's probably unnecessary to clarify this, but just in case: You may definitely keep talking about which three GURPS books we're about to send off to Amazon CreateSpace. After all, this is the speculation thread, so speculate away!

Just take the pointless argument about "realness" elsewhere.

To my mind Seting books are the best for Create Space. Typically lower sales than a core book so you are less likely to get volume pricing discounts anyway and may have large inventories if you do.

Yes, not sure how that applies to my statement that you replied to though.
Any book that is unlikely to do well with a large production run but would sell printed copies is probably a candidate for Create Space.
Setting books I called out as they according to sources dont tend to sell real well but are valuable to showcase the GURPS system and its capabilities.
Many GURPS Gms seem to make their own settings but that can be a lot of work for a newcomer. Ok a lot of work for anyone but more overwhelming when your also learning the system.

No release yet but I am hoping as its been a few weeks and next week should be Pyramid. Any ideas on what we may see? Dreams hopes?

Every week, a part of me hopes for GURPS Vehicles. Someday, my wish might even come true!

Me too! If only because it will answer so many questions and I have specific hopes for it.
Plus tinkering with vehicles can be fun.

Hmm, that sounds familiar, but it does have a 2017 copyright date so it may be a new release. Of course I am hoping to see a GURPS one but I suspect we will see a slowdown this year.
Most of the unliscenced Classics are out now and Kromm is tied up with the DFRPG so is probably not doing much editing.
I do not think it will be as bad for new releases as the ogre kickstarter was but I do expect a slower release schedule.


EDIT: And of course while typing my reply it hit the new release page. So it appears no new GURPS stuff this week.
