Yep, it was either Sorcery or the followup Sorcery: P&W Spells

Yep, DFRPG.

Today it's Pyramid #3/99: Death and Beyond. Becoming Death and psionic necromancy both sound interesting.

I liked them quite a bit. In particular, I'm amazed at how perfectly psychopomps fit Monster Hunters and am definitely adding Reapers to the character options in my own games -- possibly with some reworked Necro-Psi abilities to expand the Reaper power.

Shall we speculate on the next three titles to be available through Amazon/CreateSpace?

Powers, Bio-Tech, Infinite Worlds, High-Tech, Martial Arts and Supers are all out-of-print. Of those, Powers and Martial Arts are fairly core books; I'm really not sure what might be picked as the third. High-Tech seems important to me, but I seem to be in a minority on that.

Powers and Martial Arts should definitely be there IMHO as most consider them "Core" books. High-Tech is a good addition to a GM library for modern games. Infinite Worlds as a setting book might be nice but I suspect wont be the best test item. Supers is a smaller niche than most of the rest, though Bio-Tech is also a small niche product.
Might be nice to have an item that was never printed but had high sales and broad appeal. Say GURPS Powers: Sorcery to add to the magic line up.

My tastes should absolutely not be taken as representative, but: when I'm planning games, I'm happy with books in PDF. It's when I'm running them that I tend to want the hardcopy. (I should say that generally we discuss a campaign, then go away and generate characters colluding over the internet, and come back together in person for the actual play.)

With that in mind, I regard Bio-Tech, Supers, Infinite Worlds, and especially Powers as "planning" books, so High-Tech and Martial Arts would be the ones I'd most want. Probably in that order: I run a lot of games in the eras it covers and want the kit stats, but not many games with detailed fighting.

After that, Infinite Worlds is only useful for the most part if you're actually running IW (there's some good stuff on bulding alternate histories but you don't need the whole book for that). Supers had non-Supers use in that list of wildcard skills, but Power-Ups 7 replaces that, so it's mostly just good for a superhero game. Bio-Tech ought to be the sort of book I love, but somehow it's never quite sparked anything in me. And Powers is really essential if you're designing advantages IMO; I wouldn't want to use Supers without it.

Couldn't at least one of the three be one of the slimmer volumes, such as Mysteries (also out of print)?

I wouldn't be surprised if Infinite Worlds got the nod. It is, after all, the default setting for the game.
