I like the idea of using negated advantage with limitation, I'll see if my GM will allow me to get it.

This seems like a solid 5 pointer to me.

In practice most PC kniggits will have buddies to ameliorate the sensory limitations of full helms, but exceptions happen often enough that this is better than a perk.

In game, making it possible for kniggits to be fully alert inside of giant barrel helms seems totally appropriate.
