It irrelevance of it is probably why it was left out of
Roger's basic racial template, even though there is a note about how he's probably have it. That could apply to a lot of advantages, of course. Magery might not come up at all in a game where there's nothing magical around, or any way to learn spells, so you could leave that out even for someone who has it, in theory.
Of course, it might always come up for some reason. Like Unaging would be important if you got locked inside a pocket dimension where time passes at a rate of 1 year per second. Of course, even if you came out unaged, you'd probably be mentally scarred from the isolation, with skills degraded from lack of practise.

It would be interesting if there was a way, in actually destroying a powerstone, that you might somehow be able to get more energy out of doing so than merely drawing upon it temporarily. Maybe some % of the full cost used to enchant it in the first place?
