Default Kneepads of Allure in 19th printing

Hello! I need a qualification about Brand New Kneepades of Allure.
Exactly, players of what levels can I drag to combat by this Kneepads?

So the card itself says I can't use it on players with level that equal to mine.
Change Log says I can.
So which of that I should believe?

Since in combat having an equal strength to your opponent means you are losing I am inclined to extend that logic here.

I would say that the Kneepads do not work on players of equal level to you.

I'm pretty sure you use the cards to actually play the game and the rules themselves say that the cards overrule the rules so I imagine that would apply to something as outside the rules as the changelog.

Maybe that's it. But I need an official answer anyway. Also I think that source with incorrect info (either card or change log) must be fixed.

I don't see either as incorrect. They seem to be saying the same thing just in different words.

Equal is not lower than your level.

Of course the card is the re-print from the change log so that should overrule the change log.

Well...
1. Card: Equal level is not higher than yours. So players of equal level can refuse your request for help. So you can't use Kneepads on them.
2. Change Log: Equal level is not lower than yours. So you can use Kneepads on them.

I don't see the way to consider both is correct in the same time.

NFL playoff today folks. Give Andrew and Erik some time to watch football and then get back to their computers.

This one is easy. The card is correct; the Change Log is sloppily worded.

Thanks, Andrew!
So... Do you guys gonna fix wording in the log? Not all players (or even event organizators) has new edition or GUAL)

We'll get to it when we can. Right now, getting games off to the printer is a higher priority.
