Can we launch spell after a spell ?
Hello,
During a part of Munchkin, we arrived a specific case where 2 players disagreed. Player A launches the curse "Lose two cards" to player B. Player B decides to use two cards from his hand which are: "Steal Level" and "Change race". Player A said he has no right to use these cards as he wants to just dip into his hand. Player B responds that he has the right to play these cards there before the curse "Lose two cards" takes effect. Who is right? Thank you to respond and explain. Sorry for my english, i'm french and i don't speak english very good. |

There is no stack. Once "Lose Two Cards" hits the table, it must be resolved first. The victim discards two cards from his hand (which do not have any effect, of course), and then play continues. Only cards which say they cancel or negate effects (like a Wishing Ring) can interrupt a previously played card.

I've had this issue too, like an 'interrupt' from M:TG. I kind of like that it doesn't work that way.

Once the Curse is played, you have to resolve it before taking any other action.

Yep. But I just wanted to put some emphasis to it, that the victim could play a Wishing Ring from his/her hand/table to cancel the curse. Cheers, Yukimura
