While it's not illegal, my house rules wouldn't let you drive it (do to your use of CA) in any of the games I've run. Also, if I ever ran up against it, after getting hit with one shot from those BC, I'd run like hell. ,

Here is one of the D5 Cars we use.

"The Challenger" by Shotgun Jolly

A good basic car that gets the job done. With its twin linked light MGS front, it can start to whittle down its targets almost right away. Just start to open fire, the combined 40 rounds of ammo will do you plenty of good. We even throw in a Flak Jacket for added comfort. :)

Subcompact; Heavy chassis; Heavy suspension; Small PP; 4 Standard tires. Driver w/Flak Jacket. 2xLight Machine Gun w/40xStandard Linked and in Front. 52 pts. Plastic (F: 14 R: 12 L: 12 B: 10 T: 1 U: 3); 2x3 pt. Plastic Hubs F; 2x3 pt. Plastic Hubs F. Cost: $4,992, Wgt: 2,383, HC: 4, Top Speed: 90, Accel: 5.

And here is one more..

"Rhino" by Shotgun Jolly:

This Car is a real beast. Once it gains speed, look out its gonna plow through anything in its way. 100% pure ram car, packed on with as much heavy metal armor it can handle.

Compact; Extra Heavy chassis; Heavy suspension; Medium PP; 4 Hvy Duty tires. Driver w/Body Armor. Junk Dropper w/10xDebris on the rear,W/ one extra Mag (10). Ramplate F. 31 pts. Metal and 19 pts. Plastic (F: 10/5 R: 6/4 L: 6/4 B: 5/4 T: 2/1 U: 2/1). Cost: $4,990, Wgt: 3,819, HC: 3, Top Speed: 95, Accel: 5.

I really like the progression on those cycles. They have distinctly different audiences, from long range chipper to up-close slugger. I'd drive any of them, but would try to add a spoiler to the "Double Diamond".
I'll assume the "Dingo" does not have Plat Cats.
The "Rhino" desperately needs to weigh over 4000.
The "Blazer" is interesting. Is it just me or does this look an awful lot like the Batmobile? I'd probably add rotary magazines. But I don't think the radial tires are allowed to raise HC above 3.

Ok, my turn then. I designed a modern update to Wild Bill's Wallet Beater with zero armor. And when you have no armor, you can slope it and add a ramplate for free! Ok, some people think that's an exploit... so I've included a different version. Imagine how you'd feel entering a div 5 duel with a subcompact and facing a luxury car with 10 accel, a metal ramplate, two flamethrowers, and a gunner.

Sizzler Deluxe
Luxury (sloped), Light chassis, Light suspension, Medium PP, 4 HD tires. Driver w/10 CA. Incendiary HR front w/10 CA, SD w/Incendiary spikes back w/10 CA, FT left w/10 CA, FT right w/10 CA, 1 link (FTs to SD), Ramplate. 0 sloped armor. $4998, #4199, HC 1, TS 90, Acc 5.

Sizzler Dry
Luxury, Light chassis, Light suspension, Medium PP w/PCs, 4 HD tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA, Gunner w/10 CA. LR front w/10 CA, LR back w/10 CA, FT left (9 ammo) w/10 CA, FT right (9 ammo) w/10 CA, Ramplate. Metal armor: F2,L0,R0,B0,T0,U0. HC 1, TS 90/67.5 w/HTMs, Acc 5/10 w/HTMs, #4354, $4998.
Option: Remove gunner's CA, change front LR to HR and back LR to JD w/2 ammo.

Here's the Spitfire from Combat Showcase all decked out for div5.

Spitfire 5
Subcompact; Hvy chassis, Hvy susp, Small PP w/PCs, 4 HD tires w/HTMs, Driver w/body armor. RL w/incendiary ammo front, fake ramplate. 4 fake hubs, 2 fake wg, 71 armor. HC 4, TS 90/67.5, Acc 5/10, #2511, $4998.

Here's an upgrade to the Yellowjacket from VG1

Yellowjacket Plus
Subcompact, hvy chassis, light susp, small PP w/PCs, 4 HD tires. Driver w/body armor. Laser left. 4 fake wg, 4 fake hubs, 44 armor. HC 2, TS 90, Acc 5, #2503, $10000.

Felicity
Compact (sloped), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, 100cid w/turbo w/10 CA, full 3gal duel tank w/10 CA, 4 PR tires. Driver w/10 CA and SWC. Turreted HMG w/HD ammo, fire extinguisher. 30 hubs; sloped armor: 20 metal and 150 plastic. HC 3, TS 62.5, Acc 5/10, #4433, $14930.

The BoG is the Sizzler Dry raised all the way up to div15.

Blaze of Glory
Luxury, xhvy chassis, hvy susp, Large PP w/PCs, 4 PR tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA and SWC, Gunner w/10 CA and SWC. HDFT front w/10 CA, HDFT left w/10 CA, Ramplate. 120 Armor: F40, L30, R20, B20, T5, U5. HC 3, TS 90/67.5, Acc 5/10, #6300, $15000.
Option: Remove both SWCs, add 20 armor (not to front).

For comparison I tried one with a turret; I just hate sloping a midsize without streamlining though. The mag switch takes full advantage of burn durations.

Hotfoot
Midsize (sloped), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, large PP, 4 PR tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA and HRSWC. Turreted FT (normal ammo) w/extra mag (HT ammo) and magazine switch. 20 hubs; sloped armor: 24 metal and 130 plastic. HC 3, TS 92.5/67.5, Acc 5/10, #5760, $14,994.

After all those flamethrowers, I figured the MG3 from VG3 deserved the incendiary treatment too. The "Tiamat" is probably better, just because it stays div10.

Inquisitor
Compact, xhvy chassis, hvy susp, 100cid w/turbo w/10 CA, full 3gal duel tank, 4 PR tires. Driver w/10 CA and SWC. 3 linked MGs front w/15 incendiary ammo each, fire extinguisher. 40 hubs, 20 metal and 153 plastic armor: F10/20, L10/25, R0/45, B0/50, T0/5, U0/8. HC 3, TS 62.5, Acc 5/10, #4434, $14997.

An update to the Amex Duelbuggy from VG2, the Bumblebee uses modern technology to carry more armor and firepower without losing its nimble handling and acceleration. The body blades and MFR are replaced with a more defense-oriented hot smokescreen and sloped armor.

Bumblebee
Compact (sloped), xhvy chassis, OR susp, Medium PP w/PCs, overdrive, 4 PR offroad tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA and SWC. Turreted HMG w/HD ammo linked to SS w/hot smoke corner-mounted front-right, spoiler, brushcutter. 4 5pt hubs, 2 5pt guards, 2 fake guards; 183 sloped armor: F35,L40,R40,B40,T25,U3. HC 2 (3 offroad or above 60mph), TS 67.5/90/110, Acc 10/5/2.5, #4385, $14656. Cargo capacity #25, 0 spaces.

Northern militias use a stealthy version of the Bumblebee in the snow called the Green Bee, which they always paint white, not green. 'Swarms' of Green Bees can wait in ambush and destroy opponents without ever being seen. But when they are attacked, they're quite capable of scurrying away to safety. Some are enhanced with LD Radio, HRSWC, universal turret, HD Shocks, and other goodies.

Typical survival gear for a green party member: Body armor, armored battle vest, heavy pistol with folding stock (8 shots), 2 extra 8-shot magazines, knife, concussion grenade, flaming oil grenade, PFE. $999, #37. The grenades are used to start campfires, catch fish, flush game, and other creative uses; the PFE is usually left in the car.

Green Bee
Compact (sloped), xhvy chassis, OR susp, Medium PP w/PCs, overdrive, 4 PR offroad snow tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA and SWC. Turreted HMG w/HD biodegradable ammo and silencer/flash suppressor linked to SS w/hot smoke corner-mounted front-right. Spoiler, brushcutter, light amplification, infrared shielding, all radarproof armor/hubs/guards. 4 5pt hubs, 2 5pt guards, 2 fake guards; 181 sloped armor: F35,L40,R40,B40,T25,U1. HC 2 (3 offroad or above 60mph), TS 67.5/90/110, Acc 10/5/2.5, #4373, $24895. Cargo capacity 37 lbs, 0 spaces.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Luxury, xhvy chassis, std susp, 150cid w/turbo w/10 CA, 4gal duel tank (3.5 gal fuel) w/10 CA, 4 PR tires. Driver w/10 CA and SWC, Gunner w/10 CA and SWC. ATG front (APFSDS ammo) w/10 CA, ATG back (APFSDS ammo) w/10 CA. 20 hubs, 199 armor. HC 1, TS 62.5, Acc 5/10, #6586, $19995.

If you're going to use MnR, you should do it right and use 5 of them! So I made it happen. Note that a smoke rocket is theoretically useful on the underbody even if a regular rocket isn't.

Rambonator
Luxury (sloped), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, 150cid w/turbo w/10 FPCA, full 4gal duel tank w/10 FPCA, 4 plasticore tires. Driver w/10 FPCA and HRSWC. Linked univ turreted HMG w/16 HD and 4 normal ammo each. 5 smoke MnR (F,B,L,R,U) w/10 FPCA around each, 2 PDG (right, left). Spoiler, Airdam, overdrive, 1 link from HMGs to all 5 rockets. 4 fake hubs, 2 fake guards, sloped armor: 31 metal, 47 plastic: F8/0, R7/0, B7/0, L9/20, T0/25, U0/2. HC3, Acc 5/10, TS 62.5, #6599, $29986. Cargo capacity 1 lb, 1/3 space.

The Rattler is a road vehicle; it has 5 HMGs, but it's not meant to do tons of damage. With 4 HMGS locked down and 4 weapon timers, it can drive straight at a car (or even a truck) and run it off the road by dropping its handling status every phase.

Rattler
Luxury (sloped), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, 150cid w/turbo w/10 CA, full 4gal duel tank w/10 CA, 4 PR tires. Driver w/10 CA. 3 MnR (L,R,B) w/10 CA each, 5 HMGs front w/11 HD ammo each, 4 weapon timers. Spoiler, Airdam, overdrive, 2 links. 175 sloped armor. HC 3, Acc 5/10 (or 2.5/5), TS 62.5 (or 82.5), #6599, $29985.

Then I made a division 30 ramcar. Being over 12000 lbs, it does triple damage in a collision. The one gallon gas tank is kinda sad though.

Pickup (sloped/streamlined), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, 200cid (back) with turbo and supercharger w/10 CA, full 1gal duel tank w/10 CA, 2 solid tires w/fake hubs, 4 PR tires w/4 fake hubs and 4 fake guards. Driver w/10 CA. Xhvy hitch (3dp) w/9 laser-reflective hitch armor, spoiler, airdam, rollcage, ramplate. Sloped armor: 54 LR metal, 24 regular plastic: F20/4(RP), L11/4, R11/4, B12/4, T0/4, U0/4. HC 3, Accel 15/20, TS 80, #7798, $25797. Cargo capacity #2, 9 spaces.
Six foot flatbed car trailer, xhvy chassis (4dp tongue), 2 PR tires, 2 fake hubs, 2 fake guards. DSP under, 4 full JD in weapons box. 2 metal armor under; 112 metal armor on weapons box. #4224, $4003.
Together: Accel 10/15, TS 65, #12022, $29800.

Here's one that can fire up to 24 AP rockets per turn at a single target.

Luxury, xhvy chassis, hvy susp, 150cid w/turbo, full 4gal duel tank, 4 solid tires. Driver w/body armor, PFE, and SWC, Gunner w/body armor and SWC. Linked VFRP front, linked VFRP left, 4 linked foam disch (T,T,U,U). All VFRP have twenty armor piercing and ten normal ammo each. 10 hubs, 199 armor. HC 3, TS 62.5, Acc 5/10, #6599, $29975.

This one isn't a very effective design, but it had to be done.

Camper (C/A frame), xhvy chassis, light susp, 2 solid tires, Sport PP, 4 PR tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA and hires computer. 3 Pulse XL (1 in turret, two right), 1 link, 1 smart link. 4 1pt hubs, 2 1pt gurds, 181 armor. HC 0, Acc 5/10, TS 100/75, #7798, $99,478.

This is my answer to the "Snapper". HRR vs ATG, anyone? It also works with linked BCs w/HESH, if it needs to be AADA-legal. It could have been an answer to the "Minotaur", but the engine, radial tires, computer, and heavy armor add up to make it much more expensive.

Pickup, xhvy chassis, hvy susp, 150cid w/bp,th,turbo, full 4gal duel tank, 6 SB PR radials. Driver w/HRSWC. HRR left w/HESH ammo. HD shocks, overdrive, fake ramplate. 4 5pt hubs, 2 5pt wg, 291 armor. HC 3, Acc 5/10(2.5/5), TS 60(80), #7785, $39,847. Cargo capacity 15 lbs, 13 spaces.

This road vehicle looks primitive (pintle mount, no wheelguards), but it's tougher than it looks. The smoke from the FT looks like a side effect but it hides the mines until they're detonated by radio control: instant fire guaranteed. There are no aimed weapons, so the driver can be a mechanic or other specialist without gunner skill.

Backdraft 3
Luxury, xhvy chassis, hvy suspension, large PP w/SCs, 4 solid tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA, Gunner w/10 CA. FT on pintle mount w/10pt gunshield, 3 linked MDs under w/radio-detonated napalm mines. Imp fire ext, sunroof. 180 armor. HC 3, Acc 5/10, TS 90/67.5, #6585, $17500. Cargo capacity #15, 1 space.
Option: PR tires, remove extinguisher and HTMs, trade SCs for PCs. #6285, $14800. Cargo capacity #15, 2 spaces.

The weapons on this one are often moved to other sides.

Luxury (C/A frame), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, large PP w/SCs, 4 steelbelted solid tires w/HTMs. Driver, Gunner, 10 CA on crew. BC front, BC back, fake BC left, fake BC right. Fire ext, spoiler, airdam. 40 hubs, 215 armor. HC 3, Acc 5/10, TS 90/67.5, #6570, $35000.

However, Carbon aluminum frames really deserve jump jets to avoid ramplates, like in this unnamed design. It also comes in two smaller sizes.

Luxury (C/A frame), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, large PP w/SCs, 4 solid tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA and HRSWC. Twin Laser in turret, 2 VFRP front w/laser guided ammo. #200 jump jets under, fire ext, 2 links. 30 hubs, 200 armor. HC 3, Acc 5/10, TS 90/67.5, #6560, $55000.

Sedan (sloped), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, large PP w/PCs, 4 PR tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 CA. Laser in turret linked to VFRP left w/blowthru concealment w/laser guided ammo. Imp fire ext. 30 hubs, 185 sloped armor. HC 3, Acc 5/10, TS 90/67.5, #6115, $29813.

Midsize, xhvy chassis, hvy susp, large PP, 4 fireproof PR tires w/HTMs. Driver w/10 FPCA and HRSWC. Laser in turret linked to VFRP left w/blowthru concealment w/laser-guided ammo. 30 FP hubs, 200 FP armor. HC 3, Acc 5/10, TS 92.5/67.5, #5745, $35000.

This one is designed to haul a heavy cycle (without its driver) well-protected in its trailer.

Chipper
Luxury (C/A frame), xhvy chassis, hvy susp, sport power w/SCs, 4 solid tires w/HDHTMs. Driver, passenger, 10 CA for crew. 3 linked RRs front w/HESH ammo, RR in turret w/HESH ammo smartlinked to front RRs, extra mag on turret w/HEAT ammo and mag switch. Spoiler, airdam, Xhvy hitch. 16 hubs, 203 armor. HC 3, Acc 10/20, TS 120/80, #6559, $39995. With full trailer Acc 5/10, TS 90/60.
Option: Hires computer, overdrive, HD shocks, HD brakes, antilock brakes, tinted windows, LD radio, explosive hitch, universal turret. +#20, +$9900.
Option: Radar, radar detector, fireproof armor/hubs/CA/tires. +$9170.

6 foot van trailer (C/A frame), xhvy chassis, 2 solid tires. SS front w/hot smoke, laser-reactive web (back) linked to SS. Wheel ramp (just one), 2 fake dropped gas weapons (left, right). 6 hubs, 180 armor. #2149, $8260. Cargo capacity #1211, 11 spaces.
-OR-
6 foot van trailer (C/A frame), xhvy chassis, 2 solid tires. SS front w/hot smoke, FCE left, FCE right, 2 SMD's under w/blowthru concealment w/radio-detonated TDX mines with proximity fuses. 6 links, radio detonator (for car passenger). #2729, $14760. Cargo capacity #631, 3 spaces.

I've never been fond of 18-wheelers in Car Wars. Trucks were designed back in the pocket box days, and probably deliberately underpowered to make them vulnerable to cycle gangs. I've no doubt they would have been more capable if they were designed later. And ten-wheel trucks aren't so hot either if you want to leave some real cargo capacity. So, I figured I could make a 40-foot bus with a regular truck power plant and an x-hvy hitch that's actually survivable, then put all the cargo in a 30-foot car trailer. Thus was born Thor, the Thunder Bus. I like how evenly it divides: 20 spaces for front weapons, 20 spaces for other weapons, 20 spaces for PP/crew.

40 foot bus (C/A frame), xhvy chassis, regular truck PP w/PCs,SCs, 10 plasticore tires. Driver w/10 CA and vehicular computer, Gunner w/10 CA and hires computer, second Gunner w/10 CA and hires computer. 2 tank guns front w/APFSDS ammo, 2 univ turrets: BC w/HEAT ammo and extra mag front turret smartlinked to BC w/HEAT ammo and extra mag back turret, HDSS w/hot smoke backleft, HDSS w/hot smoke backright, SS w/hot smoke and extra mag backunder, 4 SMD backunder w/blowthru concealments w/radio-det TDX ammo w/proximity fuses. 4 fake sponson turrets with fake BCs (FL, FR, BL, BR). Xhvy quickrelease hitch w/10 hitch armor, overdrive, LD radio, imp fire ext, HD shocks, spoiler, airdam, fake ramplate, 4 links. 66 hubs, 436 armor. #25196, $212220.
Option: replace 2 tankguns with 5 BC.
Option: make the TGs fake, and the four sponson turrets with BCs real. Saves 12 spaces, costs about 18000.
