Re: Car Wars Sixth Edition
24 pages makes for a very concise rule set.
I'd say that bodes well for the game, with information moved to cards and the utility of the custom dice |

The concern I have is: Keeping all those cards organized -- one errant hand movement, and there goes one's car design. Do Not Ask Me How I Know This. :) (Back-when, we wrote this stuff down on the car sheets; but that led to a different kind of "clutter".)

Re: Car Wars Sixth Edition
I agree on a misplaced swipe making cards fly. I hope they come up with a holder like the new Zombicide ones that have slots to keep things organized. The only hard part is for us old guys the text needs to be big. This was my biggest complaint with small cards. the Harry Potter miniatures game was horrible for this. A bunch of text in a hard to read pattern.

Re: Car Wars Sixth Edition
Over years of play, I have _never_ had someone destroy their car design by being careless and clumsy at the table. There aren't _that_ many cards for any vehicle design, and the cards are small and kept alongside the dashboard.

A lot of today was spent going over all of the cards, including the status of artwork for each of the cards.
And now, here are more pics: https://twitter.com/SJGames/status/1189647549994557440

Re: Car Wars Sixth Edition
I see that the new Car Wars will be about 1/64th scale....
It has been Way to many years since I looked at my Car Wars Pocket Box. As a reference, what would have been the scale of those cars? I "think" the counters were 1" by 1/2" ??? But am not sure. EDIT: Googling I found a wiki page that says the game was 1/180th scale. (1'=15")
