A Modernized, Less-Broken, Form of 3rd Edition Eidetic Memory?
I want to invent an advantage that lets a character learn certain skills extraordinarily fast compared to other characters, similar to 3rd edition eidetic memory, but not game breaking.
I know exactly how the mechanics would work! I just don't know what it should cost. One point of study-time is divided. That's it. Instead of 200 hours, it's 100, 50, 25, or even 12.5! But the number of points needed reach a certain skill-level is still the same. This would mainly be for young cinematic-prodigy characters with levels of skill that might otherwise be unrealistic for someone of that age. What should the cost of such an advantage be? |
