Sadly I see Sir Pudding is no longer present (or is he?)

So for AU equivalence, as this is a CP and a fairly large vehicle, and so if SHVYs and MHWZs count as 2 AU, I would propose the GEV-MCP is 3 AU at least. You could even justify 4 AU if you also add the 3 INF it can carry as well.

Thanks Woodchuck - I won't ask the whys & wherefores :-)

Now reviewing and overhauling some of the earlier ideas on scenario designs. It's good to see that the main Ogre Scenario activity taking place now (5 scenarios up as I type this) but that has delayed our own progress a little bit. After all, we didn't want to duplicate or contradict anything of theirs.

More news soon, and some more pix uploaded on the sheet's webpage in BGG too.

Update time: good to come back into the forum and see some buzz and activity. Also saw news of the departure of the lass doing Line Editor role.

As for our counter sheet, it's still available direct from Wayland Games, but we're also in a better situation now to answer enquiries and dispatch orders - just contact us at tiffingames@gmail.com.

So some things to catch up on, but overall it's great to see another nudge on Ogre-stuff. And I've finally got my own Nihon sheets too after sorting out an order - great countermix and love the colour scheme.

Update time: Tiffin Games now has an outlet on eBay, and this has been useful to provide players with specific elements from the S&TO countersheet. It seems that for every player who 'just wants the buildings' we have another player 'who just wants the vehicles'. So we've been happy to punch the counters from several sheets to provide accordingly.

Wayland Games still has stock of the countersheet as well.

Update: Information document now available for free download.

This information document shows how to use the counters from the S&TO sheet. This is the basic Version 1 - minimal graphics and formatting at the moment, so it's easy to print off to use. At a later stage, we'll produce another version that will hopefully mirror the official material in style.

We had a few false-starts in getting this finished for various reasons, but credit where it's due, what you see here now is my collation of all the details agreed with Steve Jackson and Daniel Jew, but it's the dedication of one man who made this presentable - Ken - a great ally to have in the Ogreverse.

The countersheet also has it's own page on BGG where you can post up comments and questions, and see some pictures.

Cool! A few minor nits though :)

1) The Train Yard is listed as 10SP per hex, but how does this work? Do you have to keep track of each hex separately? And if so, how do you handle destroyed hexes before you can flip the entire counter?

2) Inherent Base Defense - You give it a separate defense strength, but how does that work? If you attack it does it not damage the building? If the building is destroyed, does the point defense remain?

3) 'Operation Newspaper' was not published in 'Shockwave' - It originally was posted in TSG, and later reprinted in 'The Ogre Book', albeit to highlight the new LGEV from Shockwave...

And finally, at least here, my username is all lowercase (Imagine my surprise seeing it in the credits - thanks!) :P

No problems offsides, always appreciate any questions that can help explain game-play aspects of the counters.

1. The Rail Station and the three Railyard hexes are all separate counters, so that's four single-hex counters. You can keep track of SP damage either by using numeric counters on the board, or use other spare terrain counters off the board with number counters or dice to track the SPs lost on each.

2. Inherent defence strength is for the Facility, (from 1.1 of the Info document) and also complies to the usual Ogre buildings rules. With a Facility counter the whole hex is treated as 'Town' terrain. Remove all SPs and flip the counter to the damaged side, and it's 'just' Rubble.

3. Thanks for the clarification, think that was from a comment here in SJG Forums, so we'll make corrections in Version II.

You got capitalized probably in the proof-read, perhaps consider it an 'honorific entitlement'? :)

And thanks woodchuck, we also use Rubble counters if part of a multi-hex terrain counter is taken out, so it's a handy tip.
