Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell OOC
Just for the record, I'm not personally especially afraid of being outclassed by multiple rapid strikes, for several reasons: first, I'm not playing especially seriously in this campaign anyway. Second, Dorli still does more damage in a single attack than Erion. Third, Dorli is built as a tank/healer/melee DPS/utility caster, and as such isn't exactly going to be optimized for anything anyway.

I would be okay with making a power-up that lets you do one more attack, but any more than that is too much.

Five points sounds about right.

Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell OOC
I looked for a casting time and still managed to miss that. What sort of enemy is going to sit around for thirty seconds while you cast a spell? And When are you going to want to cast that on someone who's not your enemy? Weird.
Anyway. I'd like to put the +5 in Lightning instead, then, and cast that. For record-keeping's sake, here's the old post:

Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell OOC
It's a regular spell actually, and thanks to high skill It's 2 sec cast time is reduced to 1, or is it 3 to 2? Gotta look up M112. If it's 3 reduced to two I'll want to not delay casting it. I think it's 2 reduced to 1 though. Darn me not putting it's casting time on my character crib sheet.

Plant Form Other is also useful as a threat for interrogation and as a quick and dirty prisoner restraint.

Because it's completely arbitrary whether something is a missile spell.

Re: [GURPS DF] Welcome to Hell OOC
Seems like that some times. But I can't think of one that doesn't do damage, though 2 do have special effects. Lightining (and all it's kin,) and concussion. If there were an explosive light based attack this would be at least one of the prerequisites for it like thunderclap is for concussion.
