Re: all in a nights work
Actually, most of it would be checking rules (such as a reference to PD) and correcting page references; other than that you just need 2 characters (you can't use the 4e version of Dai Blackthorn, because he can teleport).

Re: all in a nights work
It would be cool if someone did update this. I'm kind of busy, but if not one takes a stab at it . . . I'd be willing to do so eventually (after my paid writing projects are done.)

Re: all in a nights work
Seems like the sort of thing that should be easy enough to do collectively here.

I'd be willing to do it if you want, Kromm.

Re: all in a nights work
I think it's past the stage that any of us can actually help it.

Re: all in a nights work
Yes, I explicitly spelled out that the update was done. It's a done deal. What's holding things up is art, with which no one here can help. This item gets rock-bottom art priority because it's a freebie.
And as I also said, art isn't an area where I have influence . . . basically, I decide whether modifiers are +1 or +2, and I dot and cross for writers. I do not make policy or interact with the production process once art and publication schedules get involved. I'm a "senior warrant officer" with specific technical skills, not brass.

Re: all in a nights work
Bloody hell, I did not see that in the thread. Time for another cup of coffee.

Also, thanks for the answers there, Kromm. I love GURPS, and it presently gets about 80% to 90% of my gaming dollars. Sadly, said dollars aren't nearly enough to show awesome this game is. |

Re: all in a nights work
I didn't mean to cause such a ruckus! That's awesome that it is actually being worked on, even if it is waiting on art and number 50 on the top 5 things to do. I just recently got back into roleplaying and GURPS has always been my system of choice. I want to get other players into the system and thought that All in a nights work was always a great little adventure to run through to get a good feel of the basic mechanics of the game. I thought sjgames actually putting out an updated official PDF for free would help more people get into it GURPS. And no Kromm I didn't actually expect you to rewrite the adventure, but maybe sign a hardcopy for me ;)

Re: all in a nights work
Just out of curiosity: Why not just use the art from 3rd edition?
