Default Power to trade 1 pt of dodge from self to ally

The idea is that this character can reflexively call out to an ally to warn them of danger, giving them a +1 to dodge, however the caller gets a -1 to dodge until the beginning of their turn because they are distracted.

As a side note, there is a sonic limitation on there, which is:
Has vocal component [-10%]
Must have clear path through fluid or air [-10%]

Quote:
Affliction 1 [10]
Advantage: Enhanced Defenses (Dodge) [150%]
Reflexive [+40%], Costs FP 1 [-5%], Sonic [-20%], Active Defense [-40%],
Accessibility (Not on Self) [-40%], Temporary Disadvantage (Lose 1 Dodge) [-15%]
=7
Does this make sense? I was unsure about temp disad, as it says that it can only be used for switchable advantages...but I'm unsure what else to use. Thoughts?

I would call this a -5% MAXIMUM. The rest looks ok, but cant say how acurate is.

It's very similar to Advice in DF2, except that instead of taking a Do Nothing, you are taking a defense penalty. It might therefore just be a technique of Tactics and you design it using the rules in Martian Arts.

This in particular is an actual power modifier for the elemental sound/vibration power in the Powers resource.

Are there rules for this sort of thing? What it sounds like you are suggesting is altering existing rules, where as I'm trying to get a RAW ability out of this.

Sorry, I was not aware of it.

Rules for what exactly? Complimentary skills? Yes, in DF, Action, Monster Hunters, and Social Engineering. For shouting Advice in combat? Yes in DF 2. For designing techniques? Yes, in Martial Arts.

Saying "Duck!" ought not to have to be a superpower, IMO.

Shouting advice on somebody else's turn after an attacker successfully makes his attack roll and the defender has not yet rolled is not what advice is, correct? A power to yell "Duck!" out of turn and have them gain a +1 to dodge sounds like a leadership power to me. Like you give them the sense to know exactly where it's coming from, so they have a better chance at avoiding it.

I don't think there is a way to do that without a power.

Is there a way to make the "advice" action reflexive? I don't mind the rolling tactics, but the spirit of the power is that it needs to be out of turn.

If so then your suggestion is perfect.

I would call it Hearing based. The accessability not on self and dodge penalty seem like Double dipping to me as well. Otherwise looks ok.
Note that I would also be ok with the described technique to tactics
