Default Net Troll - Bad Stuff

Searched the forums for an answer to this, without any luck.

Had three players in a game today:
  • Me = Level 3
  • Friend #1 = Level 1
  • Friend #2 = Level 1

I fought a Net Troll. Asked Friend #1 to help, which he agreed to. Long story short, we run away. I fail to run away.

Now, bad stuff states "...let the player(s) of the highest level take any one item (each) from you".

Question: Does nothing bad happen to me (e.g. I keep all my items) because I am the highest level? Or is the intent of the rule to mean players of the highest level that were not in the battle, in which case Friend #2 would have got to pick from my items?

You sure on that? I always assumed it meant "player(s) with the highest level(s) [other than you]" whether or not they were in the battle with you.

I was thinking "not suffering the Bad Stuff," for some reason. But, yes, the highest Level player not including you.

So in the example I gave in my first post, the other two players are tied for highest. Do they roll a die to determine who gets my item?

Yes, or some other random selection method of your choosing.

Max:

In this case, I only had one item. I didn't mention that earlier, but now it is pertinent.

I typically work such cases the same way Charity is done -- in case of ties, split evenly, and you choose who gets the bigger half.
