Card say flame weapons do not affect it. What about other flame attacks? Flaming Poison Potion from fantasy for example. Or Flaming Armor.

Anything that counts as fire/flame. You're using them to attack the monster. They're weapons.

Sets published earlier in the game's life were nowhere near as careful with terminology. We've caught some of those references, but others persist, tripping up the unwary.
