OGRE Loot! Show Us Yours!
During the various Kickstarters for ODE, OGREZine and Minis Set 1 and 2, I noticed a number of posts with people showing off their loot right after it arrived. (Usually posted at BGG but also elsewhere.) Sooo, I thought maybe a "loot" thread would be in order where we can all cackle like the proverbial misers over our collective hoards.
Here's my hoard from the ODE, OGREZine and Set 1 to start off. Why is my ODE still in the shipping box? I actually opened it, assembled all the Ogres, buildings and misc. pieces. I then punched out all the counters and sorted them into the trays and garages. But I keep it in the shipping box when not in use to avoid scuffing the box. Sharp eyed observers will note I have THREE boxes of Set 1. This is because a friend only wanted a GITD Ogres set add-on. So I bought the main set from him. The zip-lock bag in front of the regular OGRE box is the earlier pocket edition with all the expansions. The books to the right are both editions of the OGRE Book, OGRE Miniatures and GURPS OGRE. I simply forgot they were there when I took the picture.

Damn! Now I really wish I had kept my shipping box.

Sadly, my box is already scuffed and I haven't had it for a full year. Wish I'd thought of using the shipping box.

The alternate is to get the giant canvas bag for it. That's proven to be a pretty solid investment for me (although I still have my cardboard, too) :-)

I totally forgot to get that when I had money. I'll have to look into it when I have money again. :)

I still have my shipping boxes and the canvas bag. Yes, boxes: I have two copies of the Kickstarter Designer's Edition.

I have three. One to play now. One as a backup or to break out 15 years from now, and one to give to a regular face to face opponent should I develop one and that person does not have one.

Re: OGRE Loot! Show Us Yours!
Like many of you, I have way too much Ogre (is there such a thing as too much?). The various ODE counters and overlays (equal to 2.5 KS boxes) are all sorted into about twelve Plano trays, the new minis into six Plano, the old metal minis into two KR Multicases, all the extra maps (two full sets) are in a Sterilite tote, and then there's the things seen here in this thread:
https://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/27060653#27060653 The various Ogre books are on the bookshelf ... the faction lapel pins are new, just got them in the recent W23 sale. Someplace I have the patches, too. Do I really need 96 (!) Ogre dice? |

Re: OGRE Loot! Show Us Yours!
I just returned to Ogre this past summer, after 30+ years of absence, so the size of my collection is limited. I missed ODE KS, mini set 1, etc. and have had to piece things together. Thus far:
