Re: Real-Life Weirdness
Something new for a modern-day reliquary, or Warehouse 13 perhaps.
John Dillinger's John Thomas (Mildly NSFW)

Octopuses thrive in the warmer, more acidic waters that result from Global Warming.
Cthulhu is marshaling his troops.

Though if Savage obtains the dagger for himself, not all hope is lost, as "the dagger blade is not the only celestial object found in the boy king's tomb. His pectoral, or necklace, features an amulet scarab which is not 'greenish-yellow chalcedony,' as Carter had noted, but Libyan desert silica glass. The glass was produced by the impact on the sand of a meteorite or comet." So there's more than one Thanagarian artifact available from Tut's tomb. |

Re: Real-Life Weirdness
As much sympathy for the libertarian cause as I have, this definitely qualifies as Real-Life Weirdness: Libertarian party chairman candidate strips on stage.
Also, Sheep high on cannabis go on psychotic rampage.

Re: Real-Life Weirdness
Scientists have proposed preventing tornado formation by building enormous walls in Tornado Alley.
http://www.worldscientific.com/page/.../2014-06-23-02 They'll be maintained and patrolled by a ragged band of scoundrels who chose the Watch and the Wall over the rope and the drop, I'm sure. |

Re: Real-Life Weirdness
I just got a report from TASS that there's a proposal in RF to pass a law that will allow motorcyclists to pay a smaller vehicle tax in exchange for signing an agreement that makes them organ donors in case of their death. Cyberpunky, eh?
